Styling makes a huge difference when it comes to your images, whether you’re styling your own family, or you’re a photographer styling a client, the value is the same. I’ve spent years styling my own family for photoshoots and now work as a digital stylist specializing in styling families. It’s an absolute blast working with famlies and photographers across the country and then seeing the mood boards I create come to life as breathtaking sessions.
If you’re here because you love these gorgeous images from Ashlee Brus be sure to follow her on instagram for more where these beauties came from.
Below I will link the styles (or similar ones) I pulled for this darling family. Some links contained in my blog are affiliate links, however, I never style with affiliate programs in mind.

Mixing colors, textures, and patterns can create some magic behind the camera. When styling this family of seven I selected styles that would complement one another yet allow each person to stand out in their own unique way.
One thing I find really fun is to look through the many mood boards I create leading up to a shoot because while only one style makes the cut there are so many options when it comes to a family or photogrpahers prefrences. Scroll to the bottom to see even more styling inspo from this session 😉
